The Challenge

Leading the marketing and PR for three festivals across eight consecutive days demanded a campaign that could sustain energy, not just ignite it. The challenge was to build genuine pre-event excitement, deliver compelling live coverage, and maintain community engagement across multiple channels without momentum dropping between events. With audiences spread across social platforms, commuter corridors, and local neighborhoods, the campaign needed to work cohesively at every touchpoint from digital to physical while driving a measurable uplift in ticket sales over the previous year.

The Approach

A multi-channel strategy built for momentum. The campaign was designed around a single principle: keep the community engaged before, during, and after the festivals. Every channel played a distinct role in a coordinated whole. We focused our approach on West London and outer west London, as we felt these people would be a likely audience and have easy travel into Ealing. The Local community has always been supportive of the ESF’s as they have been running for 30+ years.

The Results

A festival series celebrated by audiences and partners alike The campaign delivered on every objective. PR efforts positioned the festivals as standout events on the cultural calendar, tube station ads generated strong visibility among commuter audiences, and social media kept the community engaged throughout. On-the-ground outreach reinforced reach in key local areas. The combined effect drove a meaningful uplift in ticket sales from 2024 — and the festival series was ultimately deemed a resounding success by audiences, partners, and press.
